SIF – Setting the Custom Errors Mode

Using SIF to Install Sitecore Packages

One of the neat things about the SIM tool was the ability to upload a package to a fresh install of Sitecore.  This was great for installing things like a 301 redirect module, WFFM, or anything else that was boilerplate for your instance.  With SIF, that functionality isn’t present out of the box.  But… now…


SIF – Changing the Website Install Folder

By default. SIF installs Sitecore in “<SystemDrive>\inetpub\wwwroot\<SiteName>”.  That’s not ideal for me, as I don’t put any real data on my C drive.
